Finally get found by AI.
Classic SEO alone isn't enough anymore — more and more people ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews instead of googling. GEO makes sure these systems can actually read, understand and cite your site.
Seven building blocks AI systems need.
- The real proof: a verifiable before/after test — ask the same questions in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot before and after optimization and observe whether and how your site shows up
- Explicitly allow AI crawlers — permit GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended & co. in robots.txt. The most demonstrably effective lever: decides whether your site can appear in AI search at all
- Structured data (Schema.org) — LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, Breadcrumb. Officially confirmed as helpful by Bing/Copilot
- Stable, clearly worded fact-based text instead of marketing fluff — AI prefers to cite plain language
- Consistent facts across all channels — website, Google Business Profile, directories (address, services, prices)
- A clean technical foundation — fast load times, clean HTML, no content behind cookie walls
- llms.txt — a young, voluntary convention that we also set up; effect on the big AI systems (Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity) is not yet proven, but costs almost no effort
Transparent, no fine print.
We put your site through its paces — technical foundation, Schema.org, crawler permissions, fact consistency. A clear diagnosis, not a sales pitch.

All prices are net prices plus statutory VAT (currently 19%). Our offer is directed exclusively at businesses within the meaning of § 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB) — not at consumers.
We don't just sell this — we live it ourselves.
latikan.com explicitly allows GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and other AI crawlers in its own robots.txt and has full Schema.org (LocalBusiness, FAQPage, Service, Breadcrumb) in place — the two building blocks with a proven effect. We've also added our own llms.txt, honestly without proven effect on the major AI systems, but with virtually no effort. This is exactly the principle I set up for your site too.
Three steps, then you're set.
Analysis
Is your site even read by AI crawlers? Check the technical foundation, Schema.org and crawler permissions.
Structure & Data
Create llms.txt, add Schema.org, allow AI crawlers in robots.txt, stabilise fact-based text.
Monitoring & Maintenance
Keep facts up to date, add new AI crawlers — GEO isn't a one-off project, it's maintenance.
Building a new platform or internal tool right now?
Then it's worth thinking about GEO from the start — instead of retrofitting it later.

What is GEO anyway?
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization — the visibility of a site in AI search systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews or Gemini, instead of just in the classic Google results list.
Does GEO replace classic SEO?
No, it complements it. A technically clean, well-structured site helps both classic SEO and GEO. GEO additionally comes with its own building blocks like llms.txt and explicit AI crawler permissions.
Can you guarantee that ChatGPT will cite my site?
No, nobody can seriously guarantee that — which source an AI system cites is ultimately decided by the model. What I deliver is the technical and content foundation for your site to be readable, understandable and citable in the first place.
What does GEO optimization cost?
The GEO analysis costs a fixed €149 and is fully credited if you book the optimization within 90 days. The optimization itself is tiered by scope: GEO Basic (one-pager up to approx. 5 pages) from €390, GEO Business (5–15 pages or blog) from €790, GEO Shop/larger site from €1,490. Plus optional GEO maintenance from €39/month, so facts, Schema.org and crawler permissions stay up to date long-term.
Does this also work for an existing site that wasn't built by you?
Yes. llms.txt, Schema.org and crawler permissions can be retrofitted onto pretty much any existing website.
What about data protection if my site now exposes more to AI crawlers?
A fair question. GEO means making structured factual data and content that is already publicly visible readable for AI crawlers — no additional personal or internal data. Where a project additionally involves AI infrastructure, we choose a European server location and GDPR-compliant providers as needed — e.g. AWS Bedrock in Frankfurt, Azure OpenAI with EU data residency, Mistral from France or Aleph Alpha from Germany — data protection is part of the concept phase, not an afterthought.
If ChatGPT shows the answer directly, does anyone still land on my site at all?
A real concern, not scaremongering. Yes, some queries are answered by AI directly, without a click. But whoever is cited or named as a source still builds awareness and trust — and for detail questions, quotes or the next step, people ultimately end up with you if you're present as a brand. Staying invisible isn't an alternative to that.
Isn't this just hype that every competitor will get too?
Maybe in a few years everyone will have llms.txt and Schema.org — but right now, far from everyone does, especially among SMEs. Whoever starts now is early instead of playing catch-up once it becomes standard. And the foundation for it — clean structure, clear factual text — helps classic SEO anyway.
Does ChatGPT actually use llms.txt?
Honestly: demonstrably, hardly at all. Google states in its own documentation, in plain words, that Google Search does not use llms.txt, and independent studies show that OpenAI only fetches the file occasionally — significantly less often than robots.txt, usually with no discernible evaluation at all. Perplexity practically doesn't fetch it over weeks at a time. No major AI provider publicly confirms using llms.txt for answers or citations. We still implement it, on principle: it costs almost no effort and could become relevant if that changes — but we don't sell it to you as the main promise. The AI crawler permissions and Schema.org are the ones with a demonstrable effect today.
